Drive and Get Around with this Beautiful Electric Bike!
This bike is really fast.Took a little while to get used to it,but now I am leaving my husband in the dust!Assembly was a little tricky but the video covered almost everything. There was some minor shipping damage and Meigi responded quickly with new parts.Very pleased
I live in the country and the area is mostly sandy. It does very well going up and down small hills. It's easy to go from manual to powered while you're riding it. I just can't say enough about it. It is just fun! Get one!
THis is a re-review because at first - whem I first reviewed this and told folks to pasks it by - I couldn't make sense of the throttle or pedal assist BECSUSE THE CONNECTOR WAS LOOSE! Now this thing is amazing. So much fun.
I bought the MG708 electric trike for my wife. As a retired engineer, I was impressed with the quality and ease of assembly. It is a beautiful piece of machinery! The only issue was the speed that the motor put out was much faster than my wife felt comfortable with. With the power set to the lowest of 3 positions, as soon as the pedals were pushed the motor would kick in and take off too fast! There is a simple fix. I removed the pedal crank arm, then removed the donut shaped pedal sensor. Zip-tying it out of the way, I reassembled the crank. Now the only time the motor engages is when the handgrip is turned, and she can apply a little boost or if she feels sassy she can pass me up on my unmotorized bike!
This is a beautiful bike that my grandson assembled for me. All went well except shifting gears does not work so we left it in 4th gear. Lighter than 124#, I weighed mine at 73#. Different than my electric bike, at 96 I am learning how to trike.
