Order Confirmation:
- You will receive an order confirmation email as soon as you place your order. This means that we have authorized your credit card for the purchase and are preparing your order for shipment.
- As soon as we receive your order, we automatically reach out to our warehouse to confirm that it is in stock and available for immediate shipment.
- If your item is on backorder or unavailable, we will reach out to you via email.
- If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment, we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment.
Order Shipment:
- If your order is stock and your credit card is approved by our fraud guarantee department, the product ordered will usually ship within 1-2 business days from the date of your order, unless it is a backorder or built-to-ship product.
- We will send you the tracking information as soon as it ships to the email address you provided when checking out.
- We ship daily via UPS Ground, Fed Ex Ground, and various LTL Freight carriers to the lower 48 states.

- A phone number is required by the freight company so a delivery appointment can be made.
- Failure to provide a good phone number you can be easily reached at may cause a delay in delivery as freight items will not be delivered without an appointment.

- Customs, Duties, and Taxes: Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to customs brokerage fees, import duties, and taxes after the shipment reaches the destination country. - To avoid a delay in receiving your order from customs, consider the following:
- Provide us with a phone number where you can be reached by customs when your product arrives. This phone number will be listed on the commercial invoice so customs can reach you to clear your order.
- Please do not refuse a shipment or ignore requests from carriers regarding duty and/or tax liability charges. Be aware that most carriers will hold a shipment for 5 days after arrival in your country before they return it to the sender.
- We do not refund original shipping charges for goods that are refused for delivery at customs.
- We will deduct all additional fees resulting from refused international shipments from your refund.
- If we are charged for YOUR taxes and duties on the shipment or incur any penalty or lawsuit related to your order or shipment, we will post the charge to your credit card.
- If the package is seized by Customs for any reason and we do not receive the package back, we will NOT issue you a refund since, obviously, local laws and regulations determine the fate of the package. If we do receive the package back after being seized, you are still responsible for the shipping charges and any other fees plus penalties incurred.
- We ship via UPS and Fedex for most products, USPS for small parts and accessories, and freight for large products.

Damages:
- Please inspect the packaging of your items when they arrive.
- If there are any products damaged upon arrival, you can file a warranty claim to get replacement parts for anything that's damaged.
- If your item(s) do arrive damaged, please send photos to support@electricbikeparadise.com and we will process an insurance claim on your behalf.
Cancellations & Refunds:
- All orders canceled are subject to an administration fee equal to 15% of the total order amount, whether or not your order has shipped. This is a fee that covers administrative and personnel fees.
- If your item is on backorder and you accept the backorder, we will hold your payment until the product ships. If you decide to cancel before a backorder arrives and is processed for shipping, we will not charge a fee.
- If you order has shipped, you (the buyer) will be responsible for actual return shipping charges. Refunds will only be issued to the original credit card that you use when placing your order.
Backorders:
- From time to time, a product may run out of stock at our warehouse and the website wasn't updated when you placed your order. In that case, we will send you an email right after you place your order notifying you of the backorder, what the expected time for arrival is, and what substitutes are available in case you are interested in getting a bike sooner.
- The expected arrival time may change due to unforeseen circumstances like a shipment getting held up at the port upon arrival or the factory missing a certain part needed to complete the manufacturing process.
- If the arrival time changes on your order, you can let us know whether you would like to keep the order, substitute for a different product, or cancel the order altogether.
- Once back orders arrive, we will notify you by email with your estimated ship date and you will receive an email with tracking information within 1-3 business days.
This section will give you the essential information about what to expect with the delivery of your item. If you purchased one of our large and heavy items your item will ship freight LTL will be delivered via a lift gate truck.
Important Freight LTL Shipment
- When the item reaches your city or a city near yours the dispatcher will call you to set up a future delivery date and time with you. The item will not be delivered until you set up this appointment.
- You need to be at the delivery address during the delivery window to receive and sign for the item.
- The dispatcher will let you know what dates they have available. Delivery appointments can only be scheduled Monday thru Friday. The delivery times can only be scheduled in delivery windows of 8 am - 12 pm or 12 pm - 4 pm. Depending on the freight company the delivery window may differ. A fixed delivery time cannot be scheduled. Example 9:00 am. It can only be scheduled in a delivery window time frame.
- Please make sure the phone number you entered at checkout is a good number to contact you at.
- Don't screen your calls until your item has been delivered.
- The item will be delivered via a lift gate truck with one delivery person. It will be placed at your door or the closet area near your door. Due to the large size, it may not be possible to be placed at your door.
- Be sure to keep all your packing materials including the pallet. If you decide to return the item you will need to have all the original packing materials.
How to Handle Damages, Exceptions or Discrepancies at time of Product Delivery (Carton packaging appears to have some damage such as ripped, holes, large dents, open carton, or items are missing):
- Carton damage requires visual inspection of contents of the unit.
- ElectricBikeParadise.com recommends IMMEDIATE inspection, with driver present, to verify damage. If contents are damaged, indicate damage on carrier’s paperwork and notify ElectricBikeParadise.com immediately.
- IMPORTANT: If contents cannot be inspected immediately, notation on carrier’s paperwork must state: “Carton damage, subject to inspection” and list type of damage.
- Contents must be inspected within 48 hours of arrival and actual damage reported to the carrier
Carton packaging has excessive damage with the exposed product:
- Refuse shipment
- Sign carrier paperwork: “Carton damaged and refused”

Returns, Refunds, Cancellation, and Pre-Order Policy

ElectricBikeParadise.com 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee Return Policy
Unused, uninstalled, and resalable merchandise in new condition and in the original packaging may be returned for a refund within 30 days of the delivery date unless otherwise noted on the product page or below*.
- You must notify us of your intent to return within 30 days of the delivery date.
- Our return policy applies to cancellations made after an item has been physically shipped or refused at the time of delivery.
- We will refund the product price minus any applicable fees and charges.
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

ElectricBikeParadise.com Returns Policy By Brands
All returns must be made within 14 days of delivery and only in “as new” condition in the original box. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs including incidental shipping damage caused by improper packing. A Return Authorization must be made by written request to us and the return must be accompanied by the original receipt.
All returns are subject a 10% restocking fee.
The scooter must be returned in its original box, with all the components and in “as new” condition.
RETURN PROCEDURE
- All return requests must be submitted in writing and sent to support@electricbikeparadise.com
- If your return is approved you will receive an email from us with return instructions.
- Securely pack all the returned items in the original packaging and include any other paperwork requested in the return approval email.
- We recommend taking a picture of the package and/or the item before shipping.
- Ship the package. We will either provide you with a return shipping label or you will have to arrange the shipping yourself. You can use UPS or FedEx Ground if your order was delivered by one of these carriers. If your item is larger and was delivered with one of the LTL freight carriers you need to make sure the box is put on a pallet and schedule a pickup with an LTL freight carrier.
- Please provide us with the tracking number.
- Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
- If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will be automatically applied to the original method of payment within 10 business days.

CANCELLATIONS
All cancelled orders are subject to a 5% cancellation fee. This fee covers our costs from our credit card processing company and our administrative costs of handling your cancellation. Whenever we refund an order, we are not refunded our merchant card processing fees and it takes our team time to deal with your cancellation, which costs us money.
Please be careful before you place your order that you fully understand that the product is right for you, and that if there is any lead time associated with the product, as there is with built-to-order products for instance, that you are aware and ok with it.
If your order has not been shipped yet, this is the only fee you will incur.
If your order has been shipped, the standard return procedure applies and more fees will apply like shipping costs and return shipping costs, and restocking fees if any. We do not charge restocking fees, we only pass them on from our supplier.
Refunds will only be issued to the original credit card or your financing account that you used when placing your order. We do not issue checks or cash refunds.
The only time we will waive this fee is if you request your order to be cancelled due to out of stock or extended lead time. However, if you choose to change your order to another product that's in stock, we may reward you with either an additional discount of our choosing or an additional free gift.
PRE-ORDERS
We rely on just-in-time fulfillment from our suppliers to provide you with a vast array of products for sale at low factory-direct pricing. This allows us to cut the costs of overhead and middle-men and pass those savings onto you. Sometimes, products are so popular that they go out of stock before the next shipment arrives at our supplier's warehouse.
If the product you purchased is out of stock at the time you placed your order, we will notify you via email as soon as possible and give you the ETA as well as other options that are currently available.
If you can't or don't want to wait, you can choose an alternative product. At that point, we will either charge or refund you the difference, update your order, and ship out the alternative product.
If you don't want an alternative product, you can cancel your order without any cancellation fee.
If you choose to accept the ETA and wait for your product, your order will be placed on pre-order status. This means we will place the pre-order with our supplier so that the product is reserved upon arrival and will ship out to you as soon as it arrives.
If you choose to cancel your order after you have confirmed your pre-order, and it still hasn't shipped yet (like in the case that it gets delayed further) then you will be charged the 5% cancellation fee we must charge to recoup the losses we incur from our credit card processing company when we issue refunds.
If you choose to cancel your pre-order after the product has shipped, the normal return policy applies.

It is the customer’s responsibility to return the product to the correct warehouse in new condition and in the original packaging. For this reason, we strongly suggest that you obtain a tracking number for the returning item(s) and purchase shipping insurance.
In the event that the product is received in a condition which we deem unacceptable, we reserve the right to deny your return. Upon receipt of the said item, we will either refuse it or contact you by email to notify you that the item was received damaged or used.
If we received the item damaged you may file a claim with your shipping company.

Damaged or used items will be retained in our warehouse for a maximum of 30 business days unless otherwise requested by the customer in writing prior to disposal. After 30 business days, the item will be disposed of or donated.

If you attempt to return an item without a return authorization (including refusing delivery), past 30 days, or in unacceptable condition, the item will be refused or shipped back to you at your cost; if we choose to accept the return, additional fees will apply.

Meet The Founder
The owner, Trevor, is from Seattle, Washington and started selling bicycles, electric bikes, and electric scooters online in 2010 and eventually built Electric Bike Paradise to serve customers all over the USA.
In 2013, Trevor was introduced to Electric Bikes when he was in college. He was selling fixed gear bikes and road bikes, beach cruiser bikes, and tandem bikes on eBay and Amazon and went to buy a used fixie bike from a seller on craigslist to use as a personal commuter bike.
That seller happened to be Tim, the founder of BMEbikes. He met Tim and his brother who showed Trevor the electric bikes they were creating as a side-project in the back of their car turbocharging business in Northridge, California. Tim let Trevor test ride an electric bike and Trevor was blown away. It was like a cross between a motorcycle and a bicycle but all-electric and super quiet.
Trevor went online to start looking for suppliers of electric bicycles and he found his first supplier of electric bikes, Micargi Electric Bikes. Since then, Trevor and his team of dedicated customer service assistants have shipped over 100,000 electric bikes, electric scooters, electric skateboards, mobility scooters, electric wheelchairs and more to customers all around the world.

2 Year Limited Warranty: Structural Frame under normal use conditions.
2 Year Limited Warranty: All components, including motor, brakes, electrical, and axles under normal use conditions.
2 Year Limited Warranty: Battery under normal use conditions.
This limited warranty extends only to the original owner and is not transferable to anyone else. If a defect exists, HandyScoot™ will, at its option and to the extent permitted by law either (1) provide components to repair the unit using new or refurbished parts at no charge to you, (2) exchange the HandyScoot™ with a functionally equivalent product that is new or refurbished; or (3) refund the original purchase price. This warranty excludes damage caused by abuse, misuse, accidents, unauthorized repairs, alterations, modifications or other causes that are not defects in materials and workmanship for which HandyScoot™ is responsible.
This Limited Warranty does not cover parts which may, under normal wear and tear, require replacement including, without limitation, tires, upholstery, fuses, etc.

I agree to be the sole person driving the scooter and I am fully responsible for any person or persons who, with or without my consent, sit on, or ride the scooter. - If there are any products damaged upon arrival, you can file a warranty claim to get replacement parts for anything that's damaged.

Cancellations & Refunds:
- All orders canceled are subject to an administration fee equal to 15% of the total order amount, whether or not your order has shipped. This is a fee that covers administrative and personnel fees.
- If your item is on backorder and you accept the backorder, we will hold your payment until the product ships. If you decide to cancel before a backorder arrives and is processed for shipping, we will not charge a fee.
- If you order has shipped, you (the buyer) will be responsible for actual return shipping charges. Refunds will only be issued to the original credit card that you use when placing your order.
Backorders:
- From time to time, a product may run out of stock at our warehouse and the website wasn't updated when you placed your order. In that case, we will send you an email right after you place your order notifying you of the backorder, what the expected time for arrival is, and what substitutes are available in case you are interested in getting a bike sooner.
- The expected arrival time may change due to unforeseen circumstances like a shipment getting held up at the port upon arrival or the factory missing a certain part needed to complete the manufacturing process.
- If the arrival time changes on your order, you can let us know whether you would like to keep the order, substitute for a different product, or cancel the order altogether.
- Once back orders arrive, we will notify you by email with your estimated ship date and you will receive an email with tracking information within 1-3 business days.
This section will give you the essential information about what to expect with the delivery of your item. If you purchased one of our large and heavy items your item will ship freight LTL will be delivered via a lift gate truck.
Important Freight LTL Shipment
- When the item reaches your city or a city near yours the dispatcher will call you to set up a future delivery date and time with you. The item will not be delivered until you set up this appointment.
- You need to be at the delivery address during the delivery window to receive and sign for the item.
- The dispatcher will let you know what dates they have available. Delivery appointments can only be scheduled Monday thru Friday. The delivery times can only be scheduled in delivery windows of 8 am - 12 pm or 12 pm - 4 pm. Depending on the freight company the delivery window may differ. A fixed delivery time cannot be scheduled. Example 9:00 am. It can only be scheduled in a delivery window time frame.
- Please make sure the phone number you entered at checkout is a good number to contact you at.
- Don't screen your calls until your item has been delivered.
- The item will be delivered via a lift gate truck with one delivery person. It will be placed at your door or the closet area near your door. Due to the large size, it may not be possible to be placed at your door.
- Be sure to keep all your packing materials including the pallet. If you decide to return the item you will need to have all the original packing materials.
How to Handle Damages, Exceptions or Discrepancies at time of Product Delivery (Carton packaging appears to have some damage such as ripped, holes, large dents, open carton, or items are missing):
- Carton damage requires visual inspection of contents of the unit.
- ElectricBikeParadise.com recommends IMMEDIATE inspection, with driver present, to verify damage. If contents are damaged, indicate damage on carrier’s paperwork and notify ElectricBikeParadise.com immediately.
- IMPORTANT: If contents cannot be inspected immediately, notation on carrier’s paperwork must state: “Carton damage, subject to inspection” and list type of damage.
- Contents must be inspected within 48 hours of arrival and actual damage reported to the carrier
Carton packaging has excessive damage with the exposed product:

- Sign carrier paperwork: “Carton damaged and refused”

ElectricBikeParadise.com 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee Return Policy
Unused, uninstalled, and resalable merchandise in new condition and in the original packaging may be returned for a refund within 30 days of the delivery date unless otherwise noted on the product page or below*.
- You must notify us of your intent to return within 30 days of the delivery date.
- Our return policy applies to cancellations made after an item has been physically shipped or refused at the time of delivery.
- We will refund the product price minus any applicable fees and charges.
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
- You are responsible for any return shipping charges.

ElectricBikeParadise.com Returns Policy By Brands
All returns must be made within 14 days of delivery and only in “as new” condition in the original box. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs including incidental shipping damage caused by improper packing. A Return Authorization must be made by written request to us and the return must be accompanied by the original receipt.
All returns are subject a 10% restocking fee.
The scooter must be returned in its original box, with all the components and in “as new” condition.
RETURN PROCEDURE
- All return requests must be submitted in writing and sent to support@electricbikeparadise.com
- If your return is approved you will receive an email from us with return instructions.
- Securely pack all the returned items in the original packaging and include any other paperwork requested in the return approval email.
- We recommend taking a picture of the package and/or the item before shipping.
- Ship the package. We will either provide you with a return shipping label or you will have to arrange the shipping yourself. You can use UPS or FedEx Ground if your order was delivered by one of these carriers. If your item is larger and was delivered with one of the LTL freight carriers you need to make sure the box is put on a pallet and schedule a pickup with an LTL freight carrier.
- Please provide us with the tracking number.
- Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
- If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will be automatically applied to the original method of payment within 10 business days.

CANCELLATIONS
All cancelled orders are subject to a 5% cancellation fee. This fee covers our costs from our credit card processing company and our administrative costs of handling your cancellation. Whenever we refund an order, we are not refunded our merchant card processing fees and it takes our team time to deal with your cancellation, which costs us money.
Please be careful before you place your order that you fully understand that the product is right for you, and that if there is any lead time associated with the product, as there is with built-to-order products for instance, that you are aware and ok with it.
If your order has not been shipped yet, this is the only fee you will incur.
If your order has been shipped, the standard return procedure applies and more fees will apply like shipping costs and return shipping costs, and restocking fees if any. We do not charge restocking fees, we only pass them on from our supplier.
Refunds will only be issued to the original credit card or your financing account that you used when placing your order. We do not issue checks or cash refunds.
The only time we will waive this fee is if you request your order to be cancelled due to out of stock or extended lead time. However, if you choose to change your order to another product that's in stock, we may reward you with either an additional discount of our choosing or an additional free gift.
PRE-ORDERS
We rely on just-in-time fulfillment from our suppliers to provide you with a vast array of products for sale at low factory-direct pricing. This allows us to cut the costs of overhead and middle-men and pass those savings onto you. Sometimes, products are so popular that they go out of stock before the next shipment arrives at our supplier's warehouse.
If the product you purchased is out of stock at the time you placed your order, we will notify you via email as soon as possible and give you the ETA as well as other options that are currently available.
If you can't or don't want to wait, you can choose an alternative product. At that point, we will either charge or refund you the difference, update your order, and ship out the alternative product.
If you don't want an alternative product, you can cancel your order without any cancellation fee.
If you choose to accept the ETA and wait for your product, your order will be placed on pre-order status. This means we will place the pre-order with our supplier so that the product is reserved upon arrival and will ship out to you as soon as it arrives.
If you choose to cancel your order after you have confirmed your pre-order, and it still hasn't shipped yet (like in the case that it gets delayed further) then you will be charged the 5% cancellation fee we must charge to recoup the losses we incur from our credit card processing company when we issue refunds.
If you choose to cancel your pre-order after the product has shipped, the normal return policy applies.

Meet The Founder
The owner, Trevor, is from Seattle, Washington and started selling bicycles, electric bikes, and electric scooters online in 2010 and eventually built Electric Bike Paradise to serve customers all over the USA.
In 2013, Trevor was introduced to Electric Bikes when he was in college. He was selling fixed gear bikes and road bikes, beach cruiser bikes, and tandem bikes on eBay and Amazon and went to buy a used fixie bike from a seller on craigslist to use as a personal commuter bike.
That seller happened to be Tim, the founder of BMEbikes. He met Tim and his brother who showed Trevor the electric bikes they were creating as a side-project in the back of their car turbocharging business in Northridge, California. Tim let Trevor test ride an electric bike and Trevor was blown away. It was like a cross between a motorcycle and a bicycle but all-electric and super quiet.
Trevor went online to start looking for suppliers of electric bicycles and he found his first supplier of electric bikes, Micargi Electric Bikes. 2 Year Limited Warranty: Structural Frame under normal use conditions.
2 Year Limited Warranty: All components, including motor, brakes, electrical, and axles under normal use conditions.
2 Year Limited Warranty: Battery under normal use conditions.
This limited warranty extends only to the original owner and is not transferable to anyone else. If a defect exists, HandyScoot™ will, at its option and to the extent permitted by law either (1) provide components to repair the unit using new or refurbished parts at no charge to you, (2) exchange the HandyScoot™ with a functionally equivalent product that is new or refurbished; or (3) refund the original purchase price. This warranty excludes damage caused by abuse, misuse, accidents, unauthorized repairs, alterations, modifications or other causes that are not defects in materials and workmanship for which HandyScoot™ is responsible.

The parties also irrevocably consent to the jurisdiction of the State Court of Santa Fe County, New Mexico, and agree that the State Court of Santa Fe, New Mexico shall have exclusive jurisdiction and be the sole venue for the consideration of any lawsuits, disputes, and claims between the parties.
The parties hereby waive the right to any jury trial on any lawsuit, dispute, claim or controversy. The parties also waive any right to consolidate or to have handled as a class action any proceeding on any lawsuit, dispute, claim, or controversy. The parties agree that any proceedings will be conducted solely on an individual basis. The parties agree not to seek to have any lawsuit, dispute, claim, or controversy heard as a class action, private attorney general action, or in any other proceeding in which either party acts or proposes to act in a representative capacity.
If any provision herein is found to be illegal or unenforceable, that provision will be severed with the remaining in full force and effect.

When utilizing a HandyScoot™ and equipment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and had the opportunity to ask questions regarding this Waiver of Liability, Disclaimer and Indemnification and agree to these as a condition for the use/purchase of the HandyScoot™.
I hereby guarantee that I, the “Purchaser”, am of sound mind, am over the age of 18 years old and acknowledge and recognize that the equipment is unfamiliar to me, and it is my sole responsibility to use utmost care and caution when determining where and when I ride the scooter utilizing the guidelines in the HandyScoot™ Instruction Manual.
I agree to be the sole person driving the scooter and I am fully responsible for any person or persons who, with or without my consent, sit on, or ride the scooter. I hereby release, waive, and discharge the right to seek medical reimbursement or the legal prosecution of HandyScoot™ for any physical injury resulting to myself or someone else or property damage from the equipment provided by HandyScoot ™.
I hereby agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless HandyScoot™, its managers, members, employees and agents for any loss or damages awarded by a court of competent jurisdiction resulting from any claim, action, or demand including reasonable attorney’s fees arising out of or related to the HandyScoot™ and equipment provided by HandyScoot™. It is my express intent that this Waiver of Liability, Disclaimer and Indemnification shall bind my family, my heirs, assigns and personal representatives. I have flown all over the world with my HandyScoot, and despite having some airlines question a lithium battery, I’ve always been able to ride it all the way to the plane door. While waiting for a “supervisor” to show up, I split the unit and put it through the X-ray - No problem. Everywhere I go, people stop me and ask who makes the scooter. In Japan, I constantly heard the people say “sugoi” (amazing) when I collapsed the unit to fit in taxis or buses. I’ve gone to convention centers all over the US and rode the aisles back and forth with no issues at all.
I use it daily to get to my desk from my company’s transit center, various meetings, etc. it’s built like a piece of military equipment, and has served me reliably every day for over a year.
The motor has a low pitch whine which actually gets people out of the way when I’m riding by.
I got my HandyScoot about two weeks ago, and even though it is a little heavier to put in and out of my car trunk than I thought, it is not too heavy and is easily assembled. It is an amazing machine. It has taken me anywhere I've asked it to take me, and my dog has learned to walk with it very quickly. This compact, easy to use scooter has been a game changer for me. It travels easily (I keep mine in the back of my small SUV), and can be taken right up to the gate at airports. A mid drive motor is recommended by experts like on this bike. The camo paint job keeps me low profile when in the woods. I pair it with camo shirt and pants and camo backpack - I can't see or hear me coming. The battery lasted longer than any of my trips and the "range anxiety" is less and less of a thought. The manual does not tell you to "double click" the "i" button to get to settings. I set the gov'ner to 30 mph and hit 29.7 mph so, the bike can move. So far - lovin' it.
I needed a scooter that I could get around on. I have hard time walking so this scooter gets me there also I weight 250lbs no problem going up a 30% incline to my house.Thank You!

I’ve had the bike for a couple of months. No problems at all. The bike will go over 60 miles on a charge. I have not tried to max out the distance. I weigh 180 and my top speed has been 26 mph. I often use pedal power when biking with the family and it works great.
