My son absolutely loves this bike! Its been great. Only thing that wish was different was the battery but still great!
I am still in Florida. Bike is in Ohio. wont be up yhere till middle of May. Please send me instalation video since I have accidently deleted it
I have so far ridden about 80 miles on the bike. Mostly on hilly roads where I live. By hilly, I mean some quite steep hills (about 11-12% gradient) that can run for about 1 mile at a time. First impression when I unboxed it, was that, this bike is well built. For the price, it comes with reasonably good components. There aren't many ebikes that come with hydraulic disc brakes, wired front and back lights, decent 8 speed shimano Altus derailleur and shifter. It actually comes with an 8 speed cassette! Folding stem latch is very well designed. The battery in my bike is unbranded. So far it is holding charge quite well. The key, does not do anything other than lock the battery inside the top tube housing. It does NOT turn the battery ON or OFF! This bike weighs 55-56lb. I also have to say, the user manual is quite sparse with information. I still do not know how or if at all it is possible to reset the trip meter! The display screen is large and well lit even in bright sunlight. The display also allows making changes to the settings, such as how many pedal assist levels or even what percentage of pedal assist with each level. There are also 3 separate modes of ride, Eco, Normal and Sport. In Sport mode at highest pedal assist on flat roads, I have easily reached 28 to 30 mph, without much effort! One great feature is the ipas that allows one to charge the battery, either through pedaling hard or going downhill both at speeds above 13mph! I have done a 10-12 mile loop rides with a total of about 1500ft climb and by the time I got back I still had 76% left in the battery. Admittedly, I did a reasonable amount of work. Pedal assist allowed me to climb an 11% gradient hill at 10 mph which for me is quite fast. This bike, rides really smoothly and well. Seating position is well adjustable and comfortable. The front suspension is very useful and can be locked if need be. Shifting gears is crisp and precise (so far). Besides scant user guide / instructions, I had trouble with level 1 pedal assist where the motor tended to cut out intermittently. Once I changed to higher levels it was nice and smooth. I have to also note that both Jordan at Electric Bike Paradise and folks at the factory were extremely helpful and responsive to help identify the cause of the problem. They shipped me a new controller and walked me through the change with a couple of email changes. Changing the controller was quite easy and took me about 45 min to sort out the cables and plugs. Since the controller change, the bike is even better than when I first received it. The level 1 assist problem has gone away. The bike is a lot more responsive. I actually get up to 900W of assist on level 3 going up hill. I also believe the ipas is working more efficiently now with the new controller. I really like this bike. It rides well, pedal assist is truly useful. Ipas is an excellent feature. I also belive that one can get much more from this bike on less hilly terrains, which I plan to try in the coming days. Despite some of the minor points I noted above, this ebike is definitely 5 Star. It does everything I had anticipated, of course now with the new controller.
One last note: Electric Bike Paradise sent me 2 gifts through Amazon, a nice sturdy U-lock and a phone holder!
The weather in MI has been to cold for me. I have only rode a little over ten miles. So far bike has performed well. It took me some time to get use to the power but I did get it up to 25mph in a middle gear and it's battery power indicator hasn't dropped one notch.
My first E Bike and it works very good, I take it to the store , doctors , all are pretty close to my home, Green Bike hasn’t disappointed - it’s comfy and fast !!!! Plenty of power
Love this bike! It’s a perfect size and looks like a hybrid bike. Perfect for my teens!
I love this bike. I will be using it to get to work and home.....soo excited!!!
Luckily, I only live 3 miles from work. I can make it two days before I charge the battery. The throttle works very well and the pedal assist is great. The breaks are impressive!
We have been very happy with this purchase. It's saved gas and will pay for itself in a few months. Will probably end up purchasing a second one next year so that we can ride together.
This bike is a work of art. The construction is flawless. Each weld is beautiful The materials used are top-shelf. With front and rear shocks, the ride is smooth. I love this thing.
This bike is amazing. Love it. I have recommended this amazing bike to friends and family. They do like the bike. Came 3 days early as well.
We have been corresponding with customer service for several days. The bike quit working and is under warranty. I can’t get any information except what it might be. They told me a bike repair shop could tell
Me for sure. There aren’t any shops near us. I’m getting very frustrated!
I ordered this bike for my adult son for his birthday, he has wanted one for a while. He said it was very easy to assemble and uses it to commute to his work (now that it is warmer here in NY). He has also taken it to the state parks to ride and tows his kids behind him in a bike cart. He loves it so much that he bought another one for his wife whose has asthma and had trouble taking long bike rides and now is enjoying riding all over town and the state park.
The bike came almost completely set up and with a battery! For that price, you cannot beat it. Easy to put together and it comes with all of the tools!
It took me 30 minutes walk to work, now I got this E-bike, takes me 5 to 7 minutes to get to work. I can sleep 30 more minutes plus!
Very happy with this bike so far. I especially love that it rides just like a regular pedal bike with the power off, or with it in throttle mode. I prefer to use it in throttle mode rather than pedal assist. I find the pedal-assist has a bit too much kick and it goes faster than I like. Have put about 70 miles on it so far and have not had to charge the battery yet, although I do live in Florida, so it's very flat here. We are going on a trip this summer, so look forward to seeing how it fares on hillier roads.
